Women Rally to Stop Attacks on Women's Health Care

Carol Tracy speaking at the Raising Women's Voices Rally in Philadelphia, February 17th. Rallies were held across the state denouncing recent attacks on women's health care ranging from threats of defunding family planning (Title X) at the federal level to Pennsylvania legislation banning coverage of abortion in the Pennsylvania Health Care Exchange, even if women pay for it with their own money.

WomenVote PA Interview with Malissa Gamble:
"Voting must be important if they tried to take it away from us."

This is an interview with Malissa Gamble, Founder of The Time Is Now to Make a Change, a nonprofit organization based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that was founded in 2007 by Ms. Gamble to help provide guidance and resources to formerly incarcerated women. Malissa is passionate about the importance of voting.

How To Decide Who To Vote For...

Interns at from the Women's Law Project wanted to learn more about how people decide who to vote. One intern thought to ask Michel Delli Carpini, Dean of the Annenberg School of Communication, for his advice in sorting through all of the political campaign rhetoric.

Do You Vote?

During the summer of 2009, interns at the Women's Law Project interviewed others to see if they were registered to vote, and if they do vote. The interviews were used to produce this video which is part of WLP's WomenVote PA initiative.
