Employers Urged to Adopt Time-Off for Democracy Policies on Election Day

Press Conference Announcing Support of Time-Off for Democracy Policies in the Workplace!

Place:  Mayor’s Reception Room, City Hall, Philadelphia, PA
On October 15th, WomenVote PA will be joined by Drexel University, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and the Committee of Seventy at the Mayor’s Reception Room in City Hall to invite other employers to adopt Time-Off for Democracy policies in the workplace.
Drexel University will take this opportunity to announce its recent adoption of a Time-Off for Democracy Policy, giving employees up to 1 hour of paid time off to vote on Election Day. WomenVote PA is encouraging all employers to consider creating Time-Off policies that permit flexible work schedules on Election Day.  At the press conference, employers and organizations that support Time-Off for Democracy will be asked to sign a pledge.  For more information contact:
