Tonight at 10PM, a new documentary focused on abortion in Pennsylvania will broadcast live on PBS and online here.
The Women’s Law Project appears in the film. Last year, the producers traveled to our office in Philadelphia to interview Executive Director Carol E. Tracy and attorney and longtime former WLP board member Tom Zemaitis about abortion law and access in Pennsylvania.
The film also features WLP board member Dr. Lisa Perriera, one of the many courageous and dedicated Pennsylvania-based doctors who are forced to navigate byzantine and burdensome political interference into reproductive healthcare in order to serve patients in need of abortion care.
Frontline’s “The Abortion Divide” is an update of sorts to a Frontline episode focused on abortion in Pennsylvania that initially aired in the early 1980s.
Watch the trailer here. We’ll be watching with you, and tweeting over @WomensLawProj.
