Join us to celebrate another year of fighting for gender equality!
We hope to see you this Friday, May 14 at our virtual event, Rights to Realities, where you can connect with other supporters, hear from our special guests, and chat with staff members of the Women’s Law Project to learn about our latest challenges and victories.
We are pleased to announce two special guests joining us for the occasion. Our keynote speaker, Kimberly Mutcherson, is an award-winning scholar and professor at Rutgers Law School in Camden, NJ. Her work explores reproductive justice with a focus on assisted reproduction, abortion, and reproductive decision-making.
We are also thrilled to present a reading from a.k. payne, a playwright with roots in Pittsburgh whose work was recently featured in TENDER a literary anthology and book of spells: evidence. a.k. earned a B.A. in English and African-American Studies from Yale College and is currently pursuing an MFA in playwriting at the Yale School of Drama.
We need support from our community, now more than ever. Through Rights to Realities, we raise one-third of the funds required to operate our Pittsburgh office each year. Please consider becoming a sponsor or donating to the event.
You can register, sponsor, or donate here.
We look forward to seeing you!
